Jay launched Praecello to link his close network of skilled social care practitioners and share their knowledge and skills to promote social care excellence.

Having almost three decades of experience himself, Jay is not short of well versed insights to our sector. Starting in the industry as a domestic and laundry assistant before moving into support work then through every level and even some speciality roles.

Currently at trustee and director level, Jay has held these key roles: Nominated Individual, Registered Manager, Senior Information Risk Owner, Head of Communications and Projects, Head of Projects and Partnerships, Lead Trainer, Sexuality and Relationship Advisor and many more throughout his career.

Alongside the roles listed above Jay has also led on CEO interim cover and acquired organisation integrations which provides an extensive idea of the skill set he possesses.

With all that said, Jay is very personable, a great communicator who appreciates the sector we work in and above all else holds the experience of those we support and the teams delivering that support as paramount.
